Los Angeles hosts the HARD Summer Music Festival each summer at Los Angeles Historic Park. The electronic music festival, held on Aug. 6, brought thousands of people together to see 25 electro acts like Skrillex and Jack Beats.
The concert festival featured favorites like Duck Sauce with their hit “Barbra Streisand” and Ratatat with their indie electro pop. The night closed with German DJ Alexander Ridha, or Boys Noize, dropping hard-hitting beats. Drum and Base groups like Noisia and Nero made appearances on the HARDER stage. The blend of electro tracks, drum n’ bass, dubstep, and live vocals created an intense energy that kept the crowd going all night long.
This year’s HARD Sumer Music Festival attracted close to 30,000 people, compared to 10,000 last year. HARD Summer is put on my promotion company Hardfest, who also creates other electronic events throughout the year. To prevent any serious accidents, like at Electric Daisy Carnival 2010, ambulances and police were on site to assist.
